70's Cartoons Intro Overload!
ere's a selection of intro sequences from popular cartoons of the 1970's! I've already covered the 80's in a six part video series (or more parts if I get enough requests!) and it was so popular that I've now gone back a decade to bring you this.
Including Scooby Doo, Wacky Races, Hong Kong Phooey, Godzilla, Fat Albert and the original Spider-Man cartoon, plus cartoons from Japan (Battle of the Planets) and the United Kingdom (Mr. Benn, Jamie and the Magic Torch).
BTW, I know that Scooby Doo and Spider-Man actually started in the late sixties and NOT the seventies, but to be frank, no compliation of 70's cartoons would be complete without Scoob and Spidey!

80's - TOTO - Africa
I hear the drums echoing tonight
But she hears only whispers of some quiet conversation
She's coming in 12:30 flight
The moonlit wings reflect the stars that guide me towards salvation
I stopped an old man along the way
Hoping to find some long forgotten words or ancient melodies
He turned to me as if to say, Hurry boy, it's waiting there for you
Chorus:
It's gonna take a lot to drag me away from you
There's nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do
I bless the rains down in Africa
Gonna take some time to do the things we never had
The wild dogs cry out in the night
As they grow restless longing for some solitary company
I know that I must do what's right
Sure as Kilimanjaro rises like Olympus above the Serengeti
I seek to cure what's deep inside, frightened of this thing that I've become
Chorus
(Instrumental break)
Hurry boy, she's waiting there for you
It's gonna take a lot to drag me away from you
There's nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do
I bless the rains down in Africa, I bless the rains down in Africa
